The Sisters of the Redeemer Celebrate 95 Years in North America

March 19, 2019

Today, March 19, 2019 the Sisters of the Redeemer celebrate 95 years in North America. The first twelve Sisters and two of their superiors left their home in Germany on March 6, 1924 and arrived to Ellis Island on March 19, the Feast of St. Joseph who is also a major patron saint of the Congregation. Mass was held in recognition of this joyous occasion. It’s exciting to see the many people involved who, with the Sisters, continue to carry on their mission today including our RMC volunteers!
